What should I bring on my first day?
Bring a water bottle, a towel, and wear comfortable activewear. If you're attending a recovery session, bring a change of clothes or swimwear for the sauna or ice baths. Please make sure to bring a towel to sit on for the sauna.
Most importantly, bring good energy! We’ll take care of the rest.
Where can I park when I come in?
We have five onsite parking spaces available in front of the facility, plus plenty of street parking nearby. If you're coming during peak hours, we recommend arriving a few minutes early to secure a spot. If there is no parking in the gym or in front, we recommend Victoria Street or Beesley Street as alternatives.
Do I need to be fit before starting Inertia?
Not at all. Our programs are designed to meet you where you're at. Whether you're rebuilding a base, chasing performance improvements, or somewhere in between. Our coaches tailor every session to your level, with a strong focus on technique, progress, and longevity.
How is Inertia different from regular group fitness?
Inertia provides more than a workout, it's a structured, evidence-based training program delivered in an energetic group environment. You'll get high level coaching, personalised feedback, and access to tools like TrainHeroic to track your progress. It's community focussed and science backed, taking the guesswork out of it for you.
What’s the class size and format like?
Class sizes vary depending on the time of day you choose to train, classes can range from 6 people, up to 36. During the peak times, we ensure we have 2 coaches on, in order to ensure you get the attention and coaching you need. You'll move through structured phases focusing on strength, accessories and conditioning, with a strong emphasis on form, intent, and long term progression. The classes are controlled and are explained step by step by the coach.
Do I need to commit long term?
We offer flexible week to week memberships with no lock in period, but encourage at least a 12 week commitment to see meaningful change. This allows you to move through a full training block and start building real results. We’re not here for short term gimmicks, we’re here to ensure a sustainable lifestyle that provides results long term.
